Welcome back denkfriends!
Robot friends, we are so excited to share that after a five year hiatus denkbots are back!
Ten years ago we began our Conceptual Robot in Three Days (cRi3D) experiment to help share our Requirements Based Robot Design process with the FIRST community. We shared this process in 2016 for Stronghold, in 2017 for Steamworks, in 2018 for Power Up, in 2019 for Deep Space, and in 2020 for Infinite Recharge.
Like a lot of folks we spent the last five years rebuilding, reprioritizing, and retooling. We grew our community, strengthened our FRC teams, and made a lot of new friends! From the fruits of those labors we are proud to present The Next Generation of this journey, a full blown Ri3D team from Indianapolis: Circle City Circuits!

Our Ri3D Process and Build Guide Segments
We did three segments to explain our approach to brainstorming and product design, in hopes that other mentors and teachers who might not be familiar with this approach may adapt and employ it to broaden their students’ horizons.
The three segments are:
These three segments culminated in The Reveal of our Ri3D!
As always, our goal is not to give the answer; it is to teach the process. We hope these articles will expose you to some new techniques and help those new mentors who can find the start of a new season a little bit overwhelming.
stay denk friends
